Trait Criteria

The AgSights BIO$ index is used to rank animals by default, and is designed to meet the needs of an average operation. To create your own custom index to better meet your own breeding objectives, you may search by "ABCs" or "Production Needs".

The "Production Needs" search adapts the index to better reflect the needs of different production systems, whereas the "ABCs" search option provides even greater flexibility to fine tune the index to meet your own needs.

Please note, all traits will retain some weight in the index as all are important to balanced selection decisions and overall profitability, however, you can increase the importance of the traits that matter the most to you.
